Taormina: An imperfect summer

This project is a university assignment to create the branding and identity for a place of personal significance. Taormina, located in the north-east of Sicily, has been a travel destination worldwide for individuals seeking an authentic Italian beach experience, as well as being the place were my familiy is from. Through my reseach I discovered the relaxed and imperfect attitude of the town, informing my place branding concept ‘An imperfect summer’, or ‘Un’estate imperfetto’. This concept explores the beauty of imperfections, emphasising the unplanned, raw, but completely authentic moments central to a summer in Taormina.
